Pre-school Princess

As hard as I thought it would be to have Tess go to kindergarten, it was even more difficult to let my baby go to pre-school. Mia had her first day of pre-school on Wednesday, September 3rd. (This picture is really from Thursday because when we got to pre-school yesterday my batteries were dead!AHHH!) She had been so excited for her BIG day.

She looked so small compared to all the other kids and I wondered is she would be ok. After all the bookbag is as big as she is!!!However, she fared pretty well and talked for at least an hour about all the other kids in her class and who sat by her, who scribbled on their paper instead of staying in the lines, and of course the hello song that they learned. Apparently she is ready and able. Now I am just wondering what I am to do with 2 1/2 hours. Let's see update my blog, clean my house, and do the endless amounts of laundry!!!

Two words- rechargeable batteries! I can't believe little Mia is a preschooler and I am jealous that you get 2 1/2 whole hours to yourself! Knowing you, you will probably do something wonderfully productive. I would probably waste all my free time on the computer or napping or something lame like that. I guess I will find out next year huh! Way to go Mia! Preschool is awesome and you will love it!

Oh my gosh...I could die! She is seriously so big I can't stand it. I also want photos of all the girls in dance this year since I'm not around to see :( She looks way too old (i'm not gonna say big, since she's not big at all, but rather my tiny little baby) but I am so proud that she apparently did awesome at school. Make sure she remembers her other mommy. You know, at least show her my picture every once in a while...

I love and miss you all. You've got to stop posting this cute of pictures though, or I'm gonna go crazy!

Beautiful! That's all I can say is, "Beautiful!" now you can begin to understand how difficult it is to let your baby go! Take time to chill every once in a while! Have fun!

You all are going to have to help me on Cam's first day of preschool! I am already starting to stress out about it. Mia looks so adorable with her little "big" backpack on. She is such a doll!

LOVE that last close up picture of her. So very cute. Hope she had a good day. And, I agree....take a nap. It feels really great. I did it the other day.

I totally agree on the nap thing. It feels pretty good. Beside, I think we all know the truth about your house, its completely spotless!!!!

She does look like she's all ready for preschool, and what an adorable little student she makes!

She is so photogetic! School is so fun for little kids, then it gets boring, and then you don't know what to do without it!

Can you give me a definition of alone-time. I am not sure what that is. What a big girl. What are you going to do when she goes to kindergarten? In a way I look forward to the day when all of my kids are in school, but then I know I will be sad because it is totally a milestone in you family's status.

P.S. Please don't tell Noah that preschool is a real place to go, not just working with your mom at the kitchen table.

I wish Addey and Mia were going to preschool together:( I hope we are back by the time they go to kindergarten!!! To answer your question on my blog... Our move is coming along, way to fast. Addeys last day of dance will be the 29th and then we leave the next day. Well I will miss seeing you and your girls but I am glad we have blogs so we can keep in touch and know what is going on!!!
