It's Great to be Eight!!!

Well we made it! Even though I was still scrapbooking at 3:00 am the night before we made it to the stake center and had the baptism all over by 10:30 am. There were so many family members who made the long journey to support Ellie I felt so fortunate. She looked beautiful and had the day she deserved. She also had two other kids from her primary class that were baptized as well. The one interesting fact of the day was that the water heater went bazurk and the water was HOT!!! When Ellie went in she said it felt like a hot tub! When she came out and I helped her take off her wet clothes they were still hot.

Sunday was a great day as well. Chelsea and Max had Jack blessed in our ward since everyone was here for the baptism. Max did such a nice job and Jack just slept right through it all. Then we had Max and his family come over and we had a lunch at our house. It was just what every McNeil likes; FOOD FAMILY and then a little more FOOD! Ribs anyone?

I had been wondering about your busy weekend, You did look like you had made it through it all when I dropped Addey off at dance. I was glad I got to make it to Jack's blessing so I could hear your testimony! I am glad the weekend was such a great weekend with family, baptisms, blesssings and food!!

What a special weekend. That's so great to have to much family there to support you. And as far as the haunted houses go, I never went to the one at the mine in Park City for just that reason!

I can't get over how beautiful Ellie looks. I love the daddy-daughter picture. She is so lucky to have such great parents and I am sure you made the weekend so special. The pictures of her and Jack are precious. How lucky are they to share this special time?

So many good, kind people in one place at the same time -- Butikofers, Johnsons, McNeil's--it was a wonderful weekend. Ellie did certainly look beautiful and Jack was the most well-behaved baby I've ever seen--not to mention how handsome he is!

It was a great weekend. Thank you SOOOO much for hosting the dinner at your house and doing so much for it! You are such a wonderful sister and I'm so glad Jack and Ellie will always have this weekend to share with each other. We love you so much and can't wait till Thanksgiving!

You have such a cute family, your girls are beautiful. In the next few years Tim is going to need to get a bat or something to fend off all of the boys who will be coming around. Speaking of boys, for the last few days Mason has been dying to find out the new seating arangment in his and Elli's class. Come to find out Mrs. Thompson let the class request who they would like to sit by, and Mason chose Elli. We'll see today were thier new seats are.

It sounds like the whole weekend was wonderful! Ellie and Jack are so lucky to have so many family members who love them and were there for such a special occasion. And of course you pulled it all off with style I'm sure! Way to go mom! Now you can relax till Tess gets baptized. Although I'm sure you are already secretly planning that!

So So very cute! What a great 2 days! Jackson was baptized on Saturday and Cody and Kath blessed their baby the next day too. It is something they can always share together. Looks like the day was a hit! She looks absolutely beautiful! And...so grown up!

We are so happy that we were able to share this special weekend with Ellie. A baptism and a blessing all in one weekend. I am thinking they will now have a "special" bond. Just think, when Jack gets baptized Ellie will be getting ready to date!! We can't wait to see you in a few weeks.

It was so great to see all of you guys this weekend! Ellie looked so beautiful in her white dress. I still can't believe she is eight! Before I know it we will be in your shoes, baptizing Cam! Anyway, thanks for letting us share your special day!

What an amazing weekend! I know we only live an hour away, but it was still so fun act like the rest of the kids who live away...coming up and staying at Mom's house and spending all weekend playing, talking, and EATING with the family. The baptism was so nice, and the blessing was, too. I love both those sweet kids. Max-- X-nay (spell??) on the Ellie dating thing. Let's not give Tim a heart attack this early in the game!
